Description

This was NOT done by using the Road Template (is not yet that clear to me), but using areas makes a confincing road too. Additional lighting (this time with some spotlights) always seems important to create the (right) atmosphere. No post, 100% WB.

Nice trees and grass, maybe the road is a bit too straight ahead.

I like the colours in this image and the lighting/shadows for the trees/grass are looking good. I would suggest having the rocks embedded in the ground more, and possibly adding a few with different textures. I would also add some subtle shadows to the ground around the rocks. To make the road more realistic, try adding a couple of areas to it with different textures and bump mapping, to give the impression of wear by humans/animals or vehicles.

Thanks for the tips (these are good remarks), because things can always be better and improved. May'be I can use them in a next image (I don't like 'revisions').

A nice image, it has a very good mood... Another tip :-) To add realism use two or more types of grass (with different height, color and other params) to break out from too uniform look. --Igor
