Robby, this dedication of yours brings tears to my eyes. It's sad beyond words to read she has left this world, but your poem is so beautiful and so tender that I can't help but to hope that one way or another she would be able to "read" it. Valérie was spreading joy and optimism with her comments, encouraging everyone, and making new people feel welcome here. She was also a good photographer. We missed her already since sh' decided to leave here, but we still lived with the hope that one day she might be back. Now we know she won't. So much sadness...

Valérie s'en est allée de l'autre côté du miroir dans un pays inconnu mais probablement loin de nos turbulences, de nos combats stériles, de nos manques d'amour. Décidément on ne s'habitue jamais de la mort des autres, Valérie sans t'avoir vraiment connue j'ai l'impression de perdre une amie. Oh dear Roby... thank you so much for such a lovely tribute to a beautiful, kind, sensitive and extremely talented young lady. I am utterly shocked by this awful news and my thoughts and prayers are now with her loved ones at this most terrible time.
