Pasaste por la vida como un ángel caminante
con un manantial de agua regando mis sueños.
Llevabas el cántaro de agua que humedecía
mis flores y hacia brillar las plumas de mis alas.
Pero nos dejaste, y ahora cantas a los ángeles.
Centinela de preciosura, llena el alma de ternura,
con tu miel secreta endulzabas nuestra alma.
Con tu canto de esperanza y tu alma clara.
Hermana dulce y sola, atalaya de hermosura
con tu recuerdo voy por el camino a tu encuentro.
Pasaron años de polvo y tu recuerdo de albura
me aúlla como un lobo en el pecho arrollado.
¡Qué poco fuiste nuestra, qué poco, toda nuestra!
Que corto el tiempo de vida en que fuiste
como inmaculada nieve entre las llamas.
Pero Dios te quería, le faltan Ángeles en el Cielo.
