Description

As remote-piloted survey fliers were sent out across Mars to search for the remains of an earlier attempt to reach Mars, and examine areas for future research, many surprises had been found, but few answers. As the daylight was waning, a flier finally located one of the main landing zones for the previous mission. It clearly shows the effects of a long-abandonment, but will certainly help answer many of the questions. This is likely to be a high priority for investigation. Returning to the "Mars Mystery" storyline that was done earlier in my gallery: http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1460504&member http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/index.php?image_id=1471330&member --------- The models and terrain were all created in Bryce, and this is actually the result of 4 different renders, all composited in Photoshop, along with a fair amount of postwork to give it a more dusty and moody feel. Thanks for taking a look, and comments are certainly welcome.
