Description

I was in the middle of creating this image when I got the news that my friend Valou (Valerie Ducom) passed away and I thought this was fitting her, the way I want to remember her and to honor her. I know that this is how she would want to be remembered, always full of live, smiling, positive, avec une joie de vivre. And roses were so much part of her gallery... She was my friend, always supportive of me and even last night when I went to bed, she's the one who put a smile on my face :) And with the generosity and the big heart she had, she wouldn't want us to be sad and I know this for sure :) Aurevoir ma petite Valou, je t'aime :)

Indeed a very sensitive Image for Valou! Like you said: She would like it a lot... Even if i am not publishing Images HERE no more... Valou was the first who said "Bonjour Ray!" when i started @ 7th Complex... our Friendship could go on there. Now...i still cant believe that shes what she allways was here on earth: A real Angel. You did a great Hommage for Valou with this beautyful Image Louise. VERY beautyful! Ray

The red background certainly adds the familiar touch and color to Val's character. It's a lovely dedication.

Dance is my first love so it is because of that I opened this right away. My grandmother was a dancer and I studied dance from the time I could walk until I was 18. Every now and again I can hear my grandmother in her French accent, "Michelle the hands, the hands. Graceful hands will make a mistake look elegant!"I love renders (really well done renders) of dance. Naturally the first thing I look at is the hands. Coupled with the fact that I know how much work goes into them and that working with poser is not such an easy task, I truly have a deep appreciation for effort that goes into them. Then I read your words, I sit here in tears, I did not know. I've been away for so long and only just started reposting lately and trying to play catch up on my commenting. Valerie is the reason I even made the attempt to shoot flowers. She made it look so easy. It's not! She was so encouraging, so funny! Her photography isn't just photography, it's fine art photography. It's odd because while I was making my post I thought of her, that while the post isn't "art work" she would of all people chuckle and appreciate it. I thought how I hadn't seen her around. She smiles down on you and I know she is filled with the love you have for her. I think you have captured her spirit perfectly! I know what it is like to lose a great friend. But know and let the love she had for you fill that void you feel. Warm, warm Hugs Michelle

Je découvre cette bien triste nouvelle en feuilletant ta galerie. Que dire ? Je me souviens de ses photos, bien sûr, de son avatar, de quelques commentaires que je découvrais toujours avec plaisir sur ma galerie... Quelle tristesse... Belle image pour un bel hommage.
