R&R: Rest and Relaxation. A break in being on active military duty.
Scuttlebutt had it that Bangkok was a wild town. Grunts returning from R&R there raved about the entertainment, food, sights and, in certain cases, the women, who, as Sarge put it, "lived to please,"
adding; "Free Love back in the States got nothing on Thai girls."
So, hitch a ride on the ferry chopper, catch a ride into town, groove out on the Asian Wild West.
