Very nice pov and coloring, well done!

Atmospheric coloring - warm colors for girl and balloon - cool blue for the city and the ruins on the hill - leaves a sad feeling like saying goodbye to the past and looking in a cold future - childhood lost?

Lovely contrasts and I like the panorama view, it makes the ballon seem like it is indeed moving away.

This is probably the saddest image I've seen you do. I hope you're feeling better Tony!

And excellent image, poignant, and a little chilling, to, with her standing so close to the edge. Seems we must all say goodbye to our lost innocence sometime. Hope you are feeling better. CC

Nice work - and great colour with the girl and her balloon picked out in red against the rich blues.

I adore this work so much !!! love the colors = blue mood and then the floating ballon in bright red seemingly represents her passion and hope ....the contrast of city and Forrest with ruins then releasing the balloon to the modern world apart from her place of dreams... speaks so clear and tells a story so sad and deeply stirs the soul -so moving... this really got my attention in a big way- brilliant wrk of art- a fav for sure***** !!!

Nice work! I wonder what adventures Red will have on his journey, and what stories of amazement and wonder he would be able to share.

The colors work really well in this, especially the richness of the green in the tree leaves and the contrast between the red balloon and the blue background.

that is so cool, the other month I tied enough helium balloons to carry a silver box off to sea, my 8 year old son put our address in the box. We then let go of the balloons and the box fron Paignton in Devon were we were staying for a family party. 2 weeks later we had a greetings card from France, my son was delighted. (we will never mention the Lancashire postmark (thats were his aunty lives).

Interesting image! The image I looked at just before this was Awadissk's "For Valérie Ducom To A Dear Friend" (image_id=1690332). The two images form a interesting pair.

Amazing work, love the concept!

Very nice Tony, I like the contrast of the two scenes. One close and endearing and the other stone and distant and beautiful blue hues.

Greatly moody!
