Lovely Alan. I spent a month in Manchester at the Britannia Hotel a few years ago on business. Being on my own could have been horrible, but the people of Manchester are so friendly, I went down to the bar own my own made friends and went clubbing. All paid for on my expense account. ;~)

You did get out and about Monday then Alan, I was still too tired to do anything mate, not too bad now though, I've been up since before 05:00. Nice capture, I don't think I have been near this place since 2002 Commonwealth Games, when I did a special event from Manchester Town Hall. That looks a long tram there, or is it two passing? Are you are trying to fool everybody, a blue sky? In Manchester? roflmao. Looks like you had a good day for it mate. Superb work. Bravo!!!!!

For those who are interested. The Tram system in Manchester has proved a huge success over the years and they are hoping to expand reaching even further out into the surrounding areas of greater Manchester including Oldham and Rochdale. One reason being to cut the amount of cars coming into the city centre. Local authorities have been given the go ahead to put a toll on vehicles entering the City, against much opposition I must add! The Tram shown is two joined together here and we are beginning to see this more often to cater for passenger demand.
