My real name is Markus. I live in Germany in a little town between Chemnitz an Plauen - i don't think somebody knows ;-).
Last year I buy me a Nikon D40 and now I be able to take much more pictures as before. The macros I shared are all freehand-shots.

My mum would freak if this was in our bathroom :)..I myself would love the chance to shoot it, UK insects are boring, and pretty much non existant in London, due to the greedy developers that build on all our green spaces, this is an excellent capture, how wonderful you had the chance :)

Oh very cool :-) My kids have had to get used to creepy crawlies running around the house - I won't kill them if they eat the mosquitoes! So we have a huge population of spiders too!! My 5 year old son saw the moth not long after I took photos of it and insisted I remove it from the bathroom! hahaha - I think it's so funny!! And you're right - I think insects like to look at themselves in the mirror, hehe - so does my ringneck!
