This is the birthday cake mum made me... I meant to take a shot of it and post it... For those who checked my last post "A Day Before the Day" it was meant for PJ (MrsLubner)... as today is her birthday... by my timing at least... This Cake was my birthday cake... now it's your Cake PJ... your Birthday Cake... Have a very very very happy birthday...and enjoy it to the fullest... May all your days be happy... I was thinking Pineapple, apples and perhaps pears but then I thought those might not be pears but some exotic fruit from your part of the world. It does look so good! Your mother must be a favorite at parties! It seems she is a very good cook. I'd love the recipe for this, dear, if your mom will part with it. Thank you so much for the birthday gifts. Your post yesterday was so lovely and this one is good enough to eat... oh, wait...it is something to eat. :-) You've pampered me quite enough ... I will cry tears of joy if you continue. We have a custom of birthday swats (one for each year old ...until you are big enough to punch the person trying to swat your butt!!! LOL) but there is no custom that includes a tear for each year (although that rhymes so nicely, there ought to be.) This photo is excellent! Clear, good color, fine pov and presentation is wonderful. A stellar job with that camera and with all your new knowledge about photography.

You must be egyptian or something very close because that's the only place I've ever seen that kind of a birthday cake. Beautiful picture and thanks for taking me back down memory lane.
