Description

At least it said "snow peas" on the seed package -- I didn't know they had these pretty little blooms. Strange how the lower bloom petal turns inside out and the top stays mostly closed; no matter what angle you shoot it from, it looks either backwards or two-headed. Taken in the last minutes of evening light.

Our snow peas must be a different variety, as their flowers are not near as colourful. Interesting capture.

I believe you! :) (They're not sweet peas - those grow on a longish stem out from the main vine.) This is beautiful - it makes me remember what summer is supposed to look like! (I think we're upgrading to "mostly cloudy" today and then "partly sunny" tomorrow.) Gorgeous shot, and I love the inset. Nice presentation!
