Description

On our way back from the Dales waterfall shoot we stopped off at the Falconry UK Centre near Thirsk, North Yorkshire. Luckily the clouds faded and out came the sun just in time for the visit! As usual I snapped loads of shots, most of which ended up in the bin, however this one came out well I thought. Named Muppet by the handlers as he has a tendancy to attack much bigger birds? I also should have paid more attention as I can't recall what type of owl he is!! - can anyone enlighten me? As my good friend will recall we had to battle for the bird's attention with a couple of Anoraks with Nikons (no disrespect to Nikon), who insisted on shoving their lenses in the poor bird's face!!
