Description

I was just walking around my yard the other day and the sun was out --a HUGE deal--and saw how it was hitting my roses. The light from under the flowers as the sun shone down on them was just so wonderful, gave them this delicate, translucent look. So, of course, out came my camera. Took me about 50 shots to get two or three I liked. This is one of them.

great backlit capture, a splendid full Rose like glowing embers. I regularly take hundreds of shots of just about anything lol, and when I get them onto my PC there are only 2 good ones each time (if I'm lucky).

Fifty shots? I don't think I would have that much desire, drive and patience, no matter the subject matter. It's ten tries for me at the most, then let the chips fall where they may. Anyway, I love the color blends and lighting in this endeavor, Marilyn, really looks as if the lovely bloom is simmering with heat! And congratulations on the sunshine.

I go out in the garden quite regular hunting spiders, I might take a hundred or more go into the house check them out don't find any I like so go back out and take another hundred. Greatest thing since sliced bread is digital camera's. I can't believe the amount of money I spent on film and developing, I never had a darkroom so it was all done professionally. Superb image here Marilyn, the lighting is very good indeed. Bravo!!!!! Hope you are enjoying yourselves, and haven't wrecked the joint. Lol.
