Description

I think the picture almost says it all. Though, when I first spotted this, there was a cuddly teddy sitting on the ledge inside the window to the left of the burnt out one which would have made the image even more poignant. Sadly, I didn't have my camera with me and by the time I went back, it was gone. The flat has now been completely cleared so, presumably, whoever lived there has been re-housed elsewhere. Hopefully, no-one was hurt in the fire - I certainly didn't see anything about this in the local media so it can't have been too serious. ------------------------------- Original Photograph 1-Jun-2008

Excellent capture of a sad event. I agree the teddy bear would have been an excellent addition. Hope all were okay.

the teddy that was gone is a good sign, althought it would have made the image indeed even better.

What a story this tells! It would make an excellent seed for creative writing.
