Not superfluous. I think you hit the nail on the head with that title. I think the very concept of enticement was invented by flowers, just ask the bees about that. They are truly beautiful to us. Great shot.

Stellar POV, gorgeous color blends and terrific clarity in this great macro, young lady! Okay, this must be a sensuous carniverous flower, with its mouth wide open, allowing the colorful unsuspecting caterpillar to crawl in and be slowly digested.

Ahhh, I see you find the fuzzy thing on iris to be interesting as well. My irises have finished blooming for the year. I miss those fuzzy things. A very lovely macro - nice a clear,clean and detailed.
