Description
This wonderful hybrid tea rose was well established when I moved into this house, a little more than 20 yrs ago!
The perfume is heavy and quite wonderful, and I have since bought a climbing Mirandy, which is planted not too far from my bedroom window.
It is a great older large flowered and many petaled red rose with lots of fragrance. The blooms tend to droop a bit though and it can be susceptible to powdery mildew.
Bush will get very tall and big if you let it. Does bloom almost continuously. The fact that it is still widely grown after almost 60 years says it all!
Enjoy, and I'll show the full bloom soon. Thanks for stopping by.

I also have a Mirandy and I've let it grow to about 6 feet. I have a problem with browned or blackened edges though and haven't been able to photograph any flowers that I felt were clean enough to shoot. This one looks very happy and health and its a wonderful capture.
