Description

This is another photo of my much loved late Persian, Artie, his pedigree name was Kashima Artik Splendor. He was a delightful cat but his personality didn't always reflect his good looks. At times you didn't know what mood he would wake up in each morning!This photograph indeed shows one of his "faces". He was, so he thought, a specimen of the highest echelon of the cat society and would sit on my wall outside my home looking down on my neighbours whilst swishing his tail. I am delighted to share his memory with you all. Thank you for looking.

Wow, what are the chances of that happening, I can hardly believe it, it is amazing but the prefix 'Kashima' was mine and my mothers approved Kennel Club Name for when we were breeding dogs, and we still hold it!!! I remember when I wanted to breed cats and I wanted to use my Kennel Club approved affix that they told me there was another with that name, in the cat world and approved by the GCCF. LOL... wonderful shot. The composition is very nice, indeed. I remember when my white Persian started flashing that tail that it was not a good sign!!! They can be very moody, but they are a joy. Thanks for the memories this brings.

What a great face! Sorry to hear he is gone but from looking at your photos and reading about you his life must have been full of joy. We lost our yellow lab and our golden the last couple years but I know they lived a full happy life.
