Great scene setup, good composition. A few suggestions: I think the arrow should be embedded deeper into his chest, the way it is posed now would mean the arrowhead hardly penetrated the armor - the wound would be a deep scratch, but nothing life-threatening Maybe tilt and move the arrow a little, giving us a better view of the other character's face. I'd also suggest putting the companion's left hand on the forehead of his fallen comrade. All in all, a very good start, this image can grow into a magnificent scene.
