Description

Hello all! Back again! I have been to Switzerland, hiking with my mother in the outskirts of Basel. A very beautiful country. This is a Tulip Tree, quite rare I believe. I have seen it once before, in the botanical garden of Visby, Sweden, but never in the wild. I hope you are all enjoying summer. Have a creative weekend! Cheers!

I love the tulip tree and it is closely related to the magnolia. I have seen these trees in full bloom and they are amazing. They are not rare here but they like warmer climates and a bit of humidity is best but not necessary. You won't see them where it snows or the growing season is short. This is an awesome shot and really shows off this flower so well.
