Description
I guess if I'd been anything like organised I'd have made these sunrise pics into a mini-series but I've kind of been editing them here and there and besides I think it's almost better to break the flow up with a bit of variety ;) There's possibly one more to come from that morning at some point but that's about it..
This one I think is more of a 'pure' shot of a beach sunrise and I actually really like its simplicity.. compared with the landscape orientation I preferred the 'profile' angle to this shot too. The horizon IS straight even though the clouds make it look like it isn't... anyway here's hoping you're not all bored by the sunrise pics already, wishing everyone a great Sunday, especially all the dads today ;)

(P.S. - I went back yesterday to my post 'Dawn' and removed a bit of lens-flare next to the sun which had begun to bug me, and reposted the amended file...)

I really like the way the sunlight highlights the subtle textures of that long wet beach. Presumably this was low tide? Looks beautiful!
