Description

Where overloaded with mobile phones, they makes these wonderful, so really British post-monuments superfluous, but I hope they will stay like monuments of a mobile-less era. They were less colorful in the states but everywhere non the less. Then cell phones hit and that was the death of the phonebooth. Now Superman is really screwed ;) Nice comp and shot, very well done

Yes it does make me wonder if anyone uses them anymore, are they still full of those seedy advertisements down there in London? I must say they are very much a british icon and will be sad to see them disappear altogether.

I too hope they will because it is not all areas of the UK that get a signal to be able to use their mobile phones.. our area being one of them. Broadband isn't much better lol. Great capture !

We used to have phone booths, but even they are gone. These are wonderful, and it would be a great shame if they too disapeared from the London cityscapes. I've haven't been to your gallery in far too long, and I see I've missed some wonderous sights and delightful fantasies. I hope to change that.
