Description

I love to work in watercolor, mostly for the soft, misty effects you can achieve with it. This was an art trade for a friend that turned into a big hullaballoo. Though I recieved a simple sketch from her, she ended up getting a framed and matted picture that had been in a couple art shows..But I was content with that. A promise is a promise.

Thank you all for your comments. I'm gettin' all warm and fuzzy here :) To pry, however..what do you like about it? Is it the composition, the colors..? I like to know these details :)

hello Menum... what struck me about the thumbnail wasthe facial profile it was the beauty of the face that drew me in... then on the full image, I appreciated the coloring and your water color technique.I know that watercolors are the hardest medium to work with as they are harder to control. i also considered your focal point and the positioning of the fan in relation to the woman. the over all feel of the artwork is of peaceful softness. very appealing to the eye . thank you so much for posting this. it received my vote for 2dhot as I felt that it was a very deserving piece of art :)
