Description

This is my first ever attempt at using Vue. I've got to admit that I just cannot get to grips with it at all but at least I've given it my best shot. There's a bit of touching up with the lighting in Photoshop. Any comments will be most welcome and thanks for viewing. Enjoy ... Tony :-)

You did well. I like the tutorials at www.geekatplay.com . They have taught me the interface as well as reinforced the idea of tilting terrains to get the effect you are looking for. Keep working at it, I think you'll get to liking the results you will get.

Wow, if that's trouble getting to grips with it, I wonder what will happen when you are! Looks really good, in my opinion.

Thought you might try Vue in the end, Tony. Stick with it. it's very much like Bryce really, but does the landscapes and atmospheres better. It can be a bit unstable though.

Excellent light and DOF and modeling. Just could use a bit of ambient light on the dinosaur shadows--seems like something to be wrestled with in all programs.

Well, I am definitely jealous, here, Tony. You have really taken to this program wonderfully. And this is a fantastic render for your first attempt with it. I am really looking forward to seeing some super work from you like this one. Kudos to you, all the way.

Well, shoot, Tony--I'd say it's an amazing image, especially for the very first attempt at using the program! I know nothing about Vue myself, but it seems to me as though you've done a very nice job on this! I hope you do some more with it!

Great first attempt Tony...the lighting and ATMO is great in this!Am trying to figure out Carrara 5 Pro right now to see what that can do...but I still find Bryce easier to work with...Keep up the effort,it will pay off!
