You make me want to stop using Poser for making porn and do something constructive. Just kidding. Excellent work on your part

A lot here looks really good - skin, cloth textures, ear ring, might just do with a tiny bit more reflection in the eye???

Are you talking about Albert Durero? Northern Renaissance like him or Jan van Eyck was really fantastic. I love "The praying hands" from Durerom ;O) Splendid work my friend!

Excellent portrait and a very nice interpretation of a masterful work!!!! Comparing this one to your more recent version and purely from a personal viewpoint I think I prefer the eyes in this version. However all things are subjctive and both versions a fine pieces of work!

I like the eyes in this version better. Nice render!

This is lovely but the new one has the edge because she seems more alive.

Honestly, I think the eyes in this image are more realistic than the new one. Despite the lack of reflections and highlights, these eyes are brighter, and more alive than the new version. The reflectivity in the new version makes the eyes darker, because they are reflecting a black empty environment. You don't need reflectivity if you don't have any environment in the scene to reflect.
evinrude
Very nicely done.

The lighting in your second version is more subtle and gives a very nice softness. Very nice work :)

I liked the work of Vermeer very much and yours is really close by.
