Description
Captured 4/24/08, around 8:00 AM, at a nearby park about .4 miles/.644 kilometers from my lachrymose lair.
Top photo is slighty postworked, but essentially the same, whereas the bottom picture is a backup shot of the same roses, which was outside macro range, leaving it a bit out of focus. But, instead of trashing it, I applied a crosshatch filter to give it a sharper, more abstract watercolor painted appearance.
Water drops courtesy of a sprinkler system.
Have a heads-up hump day, and thank you for any and all kind and uncritical comments.

Oooooh... this cluster of beauties has been to the stained glass paint shop on 5th avenue! Post work has enhanced this just the way you expected. Nice job!

it turned out really good; I'm glad you didn't trash it. When a photo is good but yet maybe not sharp enough or whatever, i say postwork the sucker. let it be your guinea pig and try new things on it.
