Description
My son father in law have a little garden and he letting a carror here go to seed so he can get the seeds and dry them out and plant them next year. I never saw a carror flower before. i took other photos of flowers that will grow into something we can eat. Will post them this week.
here I useing that big mirror 500mm lens. Oh it a f8 stop on it ; so I put on my 2x lens so it be a f10 then and I guess it be a 1000mm or would it be 1500mm? It ok. I just got to get use to it. I just used it one day so I still learning

I know the f/7.1 shows here but the lens is f8 on it so do that means the f stop is f/15?

Optical quality is much better than .0005in. The rouge is in microns that polished it. Now no flat spots or scratches abuse what is seen even when magnified.

Wonderful! I bet the soil is about perfect there for carrots. The water is coming. I've seen a lot of flooding everywhere North of you. I really hope you're on high ground, and so are those carrots!!!!

You thinking the flower is on it side for the stem is on the side. Not so. the flower comes off a bigger stem and there a lot of flowers comeing off this one big stem just like this one. it about three or four feet high

wish I got a shot of the whole carrots bush from one carrot too. there I guess 8 balls of flowers like this one on the big stem. Oh well live and learn [to get more povs and other shots too. took about ten of this one but all at the same angle]

I've never let carrots go to seed. I'm lucky if they grow big enough to each since our soil is like concrete around here. Not good for carrots and radishes. this is a beautiful macro though. I don't know how you learn all that stuff about lens. I'm still learning about shutter speed and that sort of thing and going slowly since it is very difficult for me to understandin. Great shot here and you are doing very well with this lens.

Love this shot! Queen Anne's Lace is also in the carrot family, so the flowers are very similar. There must be something wrong with me, I love all the flowers that are considered weeds. Dandelions and Queen Anne's Lace, Goldenrod and wild daisies, sigh, hubby pulls them all out of my garden.
