Description
Something a bit different this time - the award winning Sango Beach at Durness, Sutherland.
The image doesn't begin to show the full beauty of this secluded spot - made all the better by the knowledge that if you head out North, the first solid land that you will encounter is the Arctic!!

It looks a bit chilly but the colors in the water are amazing. The rocks are twisted and strong. Fabulous shot.

What a relief - crystal clear water... not something you see often in the british isles! Leaving tomorrow, probs in Durness on Sunday so i'll have to take a look - might be able to get my own version of this shot ;) Nice layered composition - might have included more of the beach to knock the big rock up a bit and off the centreline. I have enjoyed looking at this ongoing (i hope) series as a teaser :)
