Description

Hello folks..it has been a while! A quick update...I blew another hard drive,my son's inform me it is from my smoking at my computer. Lost all my graphic apps (sans photoshop)and I am now using a bare bones computer that is so antiquated as to be a challenge to use. I have missed being here and seeing all of your work so I will struggle with this old relic of a machine. I will try to play catch up on comments but please know it may take a month of Sundays to do so :) Hope all is well with everyone. This pic is just a photoshop brush thing...thanks for dropping by! Peace !!!

So good to see you back and posting! LOL, perfect image considering your poor computer has been dealing with second hand smoke! I was getting worried, thought something had happened. Well, it did in a way, your pc took a .. well you know. I like this image, it's really kind of cool. You could think up all kinds of stories to go with it!

Hate to disagree with your Son.. but a hard drive is sealed (immune to smoke) to prevent dust from entering and scratching the disk surface. True.. cigarette smoke can get into the connectors and impair electrical connections sometimes.. Usually, smoke just jams up fans (sticky tar oil) and allows things to overheat.. that's bad! So.. Disasemble the machine and clean all the electrical connectors with alcohol real well. Should fix any damage smoke might have done. Check fans are spinning ok. Next.. Very cool Image Michele.. Would make an excellent jacket cover for a mystery novel. Super job and glad to see your around again.. Bravo and hugs from Dave :^)

This is great !! - By the way ...if the Hard Drive isn't completely dead ...well there are SW out there which can extract an increddible amount of data from an almost dead Hard Drive (Just rescueed all of my wife's photos that way ) :-)

Sorry to hear about yuor computer. That's why I always carry enough backup parts to build another... The composition on this is incredible! It just goes to show that you don't need great software to creat great work.
