Description

Hi, I had forgotten about this one. Finished it about three weeks ago. Blackblood, a character from 2000ADs ABC Warriors. I have modelled everything in the scene including the foliage. Modelled in Amapi D7 and Carrara 6P. In Carraras renderer I found a thing called Displaced depth. It's a kinda Z-depth thing that works a treat with Photoshops lens blur filter. Thanks for looking and good luck with your latest projects.

A brilliant image, well done! Col. Blackblood captured perfectly. (I like the goblet of his enemies oil!) Top Work!

Woops!! My bad. It's called "Fragment Distance" In the render room go to the Output tab. Select Photoshop 2.5(RD) in the File format. And scroll down to the G-buffer settings and select "Fragment Distance" There is now no need to use depth of field on the camera settings. Once rendered you will have a distance channel you can use to adjust the distance blur in Photoshop. Filter> Blur> Lens Blur Hope this helps. And you forgive me?

I like the 3d/layered type efeect caused by the depth of field .(I almost sounded like I knew what I was talking about then). Anyway, it looks very good and original compared to the majority.
