Sorry all no credits today. Last night our pet rat Eragon died. And today we are trying to explain it to our three year old son. I know most people will be like a rat? Yep a pet rat, but he was family to us and our son loved him very much. He is missed already.
Why?
Why did he have to go?
Why did he have to die?
His life was not long,
and now it is over, and gone.
I am here looking into my childs eyes,
filled with tears,
trying to explain to him why.
