Description
Captured 4/24/08, around 8:00 AM, at a nearby park about .4 mile/.644 kilometers from my rara avis residence.
With petals askew, both blooms in dire need of a visit to the nearest hair salon.
Water drops courtesy of a sprinkler system.
Worth a close-up look.
Incidentally, another unwelcome heat wave in progress here in good old Southern Cal.

Beautiful .......... I'd run through the sprinklers there if its still a scorcher. I even thought of buying a kiddie pool so us grown ups can sit in there and splash around.. one never outgrows something like that! lol
