This page contains samples of some of my best artwork and various 3D models to date. Feel free to comment on anything you see here. BIO I have been an artist all my life from sculpting to painting to building ships in bottles I have had a hand in nearly everything. Several years ago I was given a glimpse at what a computer could do when an artist was at the helm. I quickly learned that the way to express myself and bring my visions to life was 3D art. I have a background in printing, graphics communication and advertising design. I became lead modeler at Faultline Studios and worked on illustrations for the card game "Crown of the Emperor". I have worked on several book covers and enjoy bringing ideas to life.
I am now lead graphics artist for RonEd Media and have continued to increase my abilities and portfolio. My goal has been to do illustrations for a sci-fi book, magazine or non-fiction titles on the paranormal. I enjoy creating various images usually sci-fi in nature that center on the darkside or human thought and technology. The many "what ifs" that fill our minds at dark hours and the need to believe in other things that give us hope in dark times. I have learned to use many programs and will likely learn many more to help in telling my stories better. The latest addition to my pallet is Vue 8 Complete and the results are amazing, expect more. I would like to thank Sci-fi channel and Sci-fi weekly for allowing me to share some of my visions with the world " My latest contribution to the 3-D world is the Cydonia model and material sets, a joint project between me and Gill Brooks. You can also find my "Shattered Worlds" sets and materials for Vue and Poser in the market place.

outside of the wonderful work elsewhere in this render, what makes this stand out is the water, such a beautiful choice in the water color and ripples, looks awfully beautiful.

While the watermark is perfectly within your rights, you might want to consider one that does not fill up the entire flipping image. (Nice image, by the way)

OK to clarify the new watermark for everyone. I recently had some of my images used without permission by another website that removed them from my gallery here on Renderosity without asking. Renderosity cannot really combat such issues IMO so it is up to individual artists to take it upon themselves to protect there works. Up until recently I did not post anywhere but Rosity so all the images that have been used were taken from this site. Most would think twice about using an image with a watermark and warning clearly visible. I hate watermarks but after talking to a friend of mine about this I made up my mind to use one. I experimented with many designs trying to come up with something that would work yet not be overly obtrusive to the actual image. I realize this may cause lower than average ratings but thats a small price to pay and a necessary one in my case. Be careful out there.

Being one of the artists also involved in this incident,I can certainly relate..I do agree that the watermark is a little large, but I certainly don't feel it deters from the image, which is a stunner,by the way!I'm still grappling with the whole watermark issue,so for now I guess I'm taking a chance.Excellent POV and lighting, great composition and render...5++

Great scene... I'm not sure if she's waving them off to a good trip, or if she wants to go along for the ride. Perfectly understandable about the watermarks. :o)

Beautiful scene, very pro. I wonder how a site OUTSIDE Rendero can REMOVE YOUR images from RR without the consent of RR's management team. It's a very strange thing, normally nobody can access to your gallery except the management team and you? I would be interested to have a link if there is a forum which talked about this My friende-brink has found another formula in which watermark is invisible but very difficult to remove. Currently I sign all my picts but don't use watermarks. In spite of the fact that I'm a professional, I don't judge my works so important, but I do understand the opinion of my collegues (whether pros or amateur enthusiasts) who have been victims of piracy. 5 of course.
