Description
One of my sentimental favorites and a photo I had to work for. It always reminds me of sitting in a hammock or looking out on the ocean on warm tropical nights with the smell of plumeria in the air.
The challenge here was to get the flames just right; that is to say, to get the right shutter speed without the flames flickering while also getting the right exposure for the flames to appear sufficiently bright. Must have taken 15 pictures before I got it right. Of course, a tripod was necessary.
