Description

Well, since I opened my mouth and suggested this, I'd better put my money where my mouth is and enter an image. No one really knows how the Pharaoh Akhenaten died. It's speculated that he might have been assassinated because of his radical ideas and lifestyle. In this image, a follower of Amon has taken it into his own hands and Queen Nefertiti, estranged from her husband for some time, comes to the temple to find this terrible situation. Some text books have Nefertiti dying before Akhenaten and others indicate that he died before she did. Who to believe? The bodies have not been yet found. Wow! What a great interpretation! Nice presentation! I also entered one called Daphne and John. It's not as good as yours though, but check it out when you get a chance! I rate this one a 10!

I just want to say.. I think this is really fantastic. I stared at this image for a bit... and at first.. I looked at the wife.. and her reaction.. running and screaming with her hands all about.. and at first i found it comical.. like "typical boo hoo".. buy yanno.. that's the point isn't it? it tells a story.. and I think if I was the woman in that situation.. I'de be doing the same kind of running and screaming.. dayum near tripping overmyself to try to stop what's happening. This is awsome. thank you for sharing. :O)
