Description

this is the storm of my recent post of "yesterdays result of the sunrise". the wind blew like crazy knocking out power to many people and breaking tree limbs.there were no tornadoes, but I dedicate this to Lars known as LBJ2 http://www.renderosity.com/mod/gallery/browse.php?username=LBJ2 I highly recommend his gallery if he is not familiar to you.his humor is among the very best and his art thanks for viewing and any comments

What a great capture of the storm clouds--- as a matter of fact, this is what Toronto has been like for the last few weeks, on and off..... but this capture is superb, the cloud formation is unique and the varying shades, and contrast of tones are incredible! Such a lovely, calm but ominous mood created... as though there is some big "unknown" brewing; and about to happen. Superb photography, my friend!

Very imposing clouds, you really captured the detailed swirling forms so well! This spring must be featuring alot of really dramatic storms, as I'm seeing alot of these types of posts this year!

I think we are getting that storm, or its spin offs, here in the New England area. It has been raining in torrents for the last two days and it is expected to continue, with heavy lightning, until next Monday, or beyond. There have been two Tornado warnings this afternoon- but they were luckily canceled. Now I am watching the flood level of the river which runs in front of my home. Last year it reached the level of severe flooding-- we had three feet at our doorstep. If this happens I will post some photos. Not on your level of expertise, but as a point of interest. Great work Richard, wish you were here with your cameras, you'd some great sky images. Excellence, as always!!!!!
