Description

Most new cities arise from the bodies of old cities - here is the city of Uve - where the ultra modern towers of the new city loom over the slowly decaying remnants of the old town. Vue 6 Pro Studio Made with lots of freebies from round the net plus a few of my own models (the bus, the domed building the streetlights) made with trueSpace. Another pic inspired by the current Imaginary Cities comp running at C3d Please feel free to comment....

I like the cottage in the back of the street. I thought that brings a really dynamic sense of how time passes, I dont know if you put that there on purpose. But it works very well!

Most excellent scene, the mood is perfect, love the models and this mixing of old and new is totally convincing. The only thing that isn't in my eyes, is this american speed limit sign in an english looking street (double decker driving on the wrong side of the street :p)

What an amazing scene! Time travel in one image :) This is really super, though the traditionalist in me prefers the old (if crumbling) buildings to the new ;-) And I loooooooooooooooooooove your bus!!!!
