Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

UFO's lol they comeing to take me away. .. very cool shot

I don't know, they don't look like any spaceships or UFOs I've ever seen. How about old ping-pong paddles or Japanese fans, sans handles? Interesting shot, nevertheless, with great contrasting.

Kind of an interesting abstract! Or Rorschach pict! Cool!!!!

I see Harry's paddles and fans, but the first thing I thought of was Star Trek. The original, where they didn't do any fancy effects! Lily pads floating in space would have been just the ticket. I'm sure there are Klingons nearby! You get me all carried away with these things, and I forget to tell you how much I like the image. :)

It's all you mentioned and then some… "Smiles"
