Description

It has been quite a while since I last posted anything to the galleries, and this is an image I started well over three months ago, finally finished it up. There are many meanings you can take from this one, and I will leave the one that I created it from left unknown, so that you can all draw your own conclusions.

The cave it's sailing into looks kinda like the female genitalia...at least, that's the first impression I got. But the boat's really cool, I particularly enjoy what you did with the sails

It's definitely interesting what you've done with this. The effect used on the sails is really cool. Your choice of lighting makes the statues blend in with the mountain behind them -- I almost missed them at first.

The ship has a very cool ethereal quality about it. As far as interpretations, those are always best left up to the individual...

Hi ShatterX, for me this picture means many things. It could mean ' welcome back ' to someone who has been through a LONG journey in life or it could be a symbol that we made it back and they're off having a pint or a glass of wine somewhere in toast of the leader that got 'em there. Anyway I think your art is intelligent and expressive and I hope to see more soon.

It is a work with a really very interesting personal vision, the illumination gives him an excellent climate, somber and mysterious, the candle of the ship she has a movement that produces a very good visual effect, it is really a work that I like a lot...:-))

its nice to have you back creating your beautiful works. the ethereal Egyptian boat is passing under two sphix-like stone figures starting to pass thru what seems like an inter-dimensional portal. the being empty, suggest it is going to get some passengers possibly. the scene is suggestive of a scene out of the Oddessey.

Nice to see u again! It's been quite a while since you posted your last picture. Is still like your work. Great idea in this picture. You made some progress in Bryce! Is the boat model by you? My only suggestion is to get the textures of the statues a bit finer. You should skale them down... Anyway great job keep it up and I hope we get to see some more of your artwork soon. Greetings Max PS: I myself made also some new pictures since you commented my last...

thanks for ur invitation! its a good piece of work. especially the ship is very good. like the textures and the glowing effect much. but the heaven seems to be very empty. looks like the end of the world is behind the mountain. it takes my hope away. the whole scene reminds me for a viking tale. where the death warrior is layed into his ship and the burning ship is send to sail to his gods. u showed us the end of the journey of the death one. only my intention. ahh, i wish i could see the reflection of the ship in the water. so long..., it must be: lars :)
