Description
This fungus (or that is what I think it is), was growing in my garden some time ago. It grew on top of an old piece of log. Was soft to the touch and made an interesting picture. :) Thanks for your comments and have a wonderful day. :)

I think that it is a bracket fungus. I have a picture of a rustic stool that is covered in them and I may post it someday. Fungi seem to be one of the least popular life forms but I find them fascinating. This is a good shot.
