Description

Urdaibai Bio-sphere - Basque Country - Spain A far view of the town of Kortezubi, at the right is the mountain of EreÃ�Â±ozar. Inside of it is the cave of SantimamiÃ�Â±e, similar in importance to Altamira and Lascaux Caves. Discovered in 1916 by a group of playing chidren, soon its cave paintings adquired a great reputation. The paintings are dated in 13.000 years, Magadaleniense Period. Apart from the paintings, the beauty and size of the cave is extraordinary. Now it is closed to visits. beautiful landscape.too bad about the closing of a natural wonder.seems like politicians overstep their intended purpose of only robbing people.they get some notion that they know better than the people that e;ected them.could be true but I doubt it
