Description
We've had a few new birds join us this year. A small flock of starlings showed up for a while at our woodpecker feeder, they were fun to watch fighting with each other for the suet. This is the first in a little series of Starlings.

a few years ago Dallas was home to 1000's of these noisy birds.downtown one could not hear the radio in your car when close to a roosting area. beautiful bird Bonita

Small flocks are great, but huge numbers of them often roost for the night, making tremendous noise and a huge mess, grins. On the other hand, I love to watch these guys, they are such silly clowns, strut around so wonderfully, and can entertain me for hours. Much more fun the housework! Oh almost forgot, this is a wonderful capture, so crisp I can see each feather!!
