Description

Grist Mill, Norris Dam State Park, Tennessee. Another view of this mill, I stayed in the area for awhile, even though it is just less than an hour from where I live, I had not been up that way before, so did lots of exploring found an old drug store from the 30’s that has the authentic soda fountain and diner inside, I just love stuff like that. And the lake area was beautiful, took some pretty sunset photos. Oh and stopped at a few antique stores. But I went back later to get a few more photos of this mill wanted to catch it at different lights during the day, this one I took right before I left for home. Thanks for all of your interest and comments.

Love that old stone and weathered wood. The slant design of the masonry seems very unique and interesting to me.

excellent image my friend, it's amazing the similarities between this and the most famous photographed (and painted) one in the US which is Mabry Mill in Dan, Virginia off of the Blue Ridge Parkway.
