Hi Everyone thanks for stopping by. Glad to be back here at Renderosity. I haven't posted for a year, so here goes. I basically work in the genre of still-life, using a three point lighting set up in Carrara and make use of Carrara's many fine rendering options: HDRI, ambient occlusion, skylight, and caustics depending on each scene. Postwork is Photoshop and Painter. Inspiration for me comes from art history (wonderful artists of the past), and digital artists everywhere - the wonderful artists of today.

Your lighting and shading techniques are stunning throughout the gallery. I'd love to see some tutorials on these subjects from you. On a more personal level. I love the whole coffee series. I was once told that modern art (as opposed to conservative, more narrative art) is like two cups of coffee -- an invitation to dialog. I think your coffee series would be a good narrative illustration of the whole process. :)
