Description

Truespace ----------------------------------------------- As for so many Escher was my example Straining certainties ----------------------------------------------- Another oldie, it was fun trying out the limits of Eshers visions in a 3d program like Truespace. Like thousands of others I tried my hand at some of his works. This is one of my humble try outs. Hope you're enjoying this old stuff. Have a great day Love Dirk

It feels too real. Definitely Escher-esque. Super cool and excellent- retro or not. My first exposure to computer art- primarily funky fractal art, was in '95. Even then you were great. ((((Dirk))))

OH WOW! I really LOVE this! It kind of reminds me of 'The Labyrinth'. Yes, very Escher inspired! This is really cool. Humble? I think not.

I wonder sometimes what your own perceptions of your works might be...if you truly recognize even a fraction of what we see objectively..from that point of view which is free of the trappings of the self that creates them. Oh, don't mind me. I'm in a contemplative mood..rambling away..lol. I like this one quite a lot. It's a strangely mesmerizing piece. I want to title it within my own head...but struggle with what to call it exactly. The thing that keeps coming to mind is...(for some weird reason)...Consequence. The persistence in how the term latches onto me, is strong, albeit a bit confusing for me. I don't understand why it is such a singular, recurrent thought when I view this image. But, it's there. And it's compelling...(((Dirk))) :)

This is a most intriguing and interesting style. I have often wondered how it is done. Nice work!

To paraphrase Escher, "If you could see the things I have seen in the dark of night..." You bring light into interesting corners.

You succeeded in creating a very Escher-like scene. Fascinating!

do I find that this picture asks the universal question of "where come us and where go us? " thank you to make us share this former work.

this begs the comment: "no matter where I go, there I am." I too thought Escher immediately. Wonderfully done, and I'm enjoying these "retro" pieces you are bringing out! They are wonderful!
