Description

I want to thanks all of you for the comments to my yesterday photo, but specially to MrsLubner. Her comment is what I expect from the other. Her's opinions could or could not make the photo better (never knows without trying it) but it is another point of view. I appreciate the persons that say sincerely their opinions on a certain photo.Only the critiques makes you to advance in a certain domain. And again the same challenge, find the biggest defaults of this photo. Have a nice day all of you!

wow, what a delightful waterlily. The soft yellow is almost poetic and so romantic, the droplets are an extra bonus, a real keeper and a nice one for a postcard

You know what I think about this shot… The biggest default I think is the angle. It is centrated. A rotation with 10 degree or more… What you think? I like the colors and the water drops. Beautiful :)

Frankly I like this alot. The two petals down on opposing sides is nice for balance, the background is worked in better for me to pull everything together. I might try a shot with a bit more center exposed - raise the camera just a bit, but not for a full shot at the center. That would take out the character and shadows too much for my liking. As it stands, I'd consider a poster with this "as is" on it for my home office wall.

I like this a lot! If it were mine, I probably would have performed a bit of lighting legerdemaine in postwork, but that's purely a matter of taste. As far as pov, dof, composition ... spectacular job!
