Description

I think hydrangeas are great, as they become more fascinating the closer you get. I think the full-sized version here shows it best. This youthful blossom certainly shows its tender age. Thank you for visiting and for any comments.

They have always fascinated me as well. The fact that you can change their color at will is amazing and so unlike most flowers. I never felt confident enough to grow one since they have certain soil conditions that they require and I do not have sections of flowerbeds that allow for specialized growing conditions...my plants all grow under the same conditions or they must die. LOL This is a very focused and delightful macro.

excellent shot! love these plants and your capture does them justice, the color variations and hues are so trippy, and i hear you can get different colors just by feeding them different kinds of plant food...so cool!

I love hydrangeas! I've got one in a pot on my patio (a blue one) that I should get out and shoot. This is a gorgeous shot - very inspiring! :)
