Description
I took a Poser 7 render of V4 and massaged it in PSP 9 to get a high key look. I'm not sure that I succeeded. I'd appreciate any critical feedback in that regard. Oh! And before I forget, I want to thank everyone who's provided helpful suggestions in the past.

**BTW, one thing I almost always do with a color image is completely desaturate it in order to see if it makes sense as a b&w image.

Oh I think it is wonderful!!! very realistic skintone and texture....I always do alot of postwork on my characters....they just never seem to have the total tone I want them to have coming out of Poser...I use Poser6.....excellent art hon...love, Carol

Cute little Skater babe, not too sure what effect you are after, but if it is what I'm thinking, then the back spot light needs to be brighter to make more contrast, just a suggestion Gene. Maybe there is tutorial here at Rendo on that one ? ~Cheers~

I consider it as very beautiful and professional. Your suggestion to turn the image in BW to check the density scale is great! The first thing I tried to determine when I loaded your image and after having seen that you have correctly corrected the Poser's anatomical errors is that there was no burnt out pixels in the high range. As I have a good practice of photo and I know that it's a problem with digital photo, I am careful for that point. I would be pleased to have such Poser expertise as you have but as a comic illustrator today I have to cope with very crude 3D renders that I use for draft to create my comic panels with pencil and paper, pending their digitalization into Photoshop for completely computer treatment.

I really like this a lot. I think the lighting needs to be just a bit softer. Perhaps reducing the contrast a little will give you a most global illumination and still achieve what you want.
