Description

Taken in New Zealand Nikon D200 18-200 VR Lens Just after dawn on a bright and very cold day!!! Used Photoshop to equalise the image to get the foreground in otherwise it is just a black blur - rather more messing around than i prefer but I liked the effect

I LOVE this! The postwork worked out amazingly well and this is a fantastic one-in-a-million shot -- did you stumble upon this or did you wait for just the right moment? Also, all those people who say an image should never be center-oriented are idiots, this would never have worked if it obeyed the rule of thirds. The way that shadow sweeps across the ground towards the camera is breathtaking. Excellent shot.
