Description

Hello all! So with this image I wanted to do some experimenting. I used environmental mapping for the first time, using a picture I took last year. The Vue trees used are all variation on the alder with personalized leaves I created from leaves in my neighborhood. And lastly I used other alpha planes to see how well I could blend 2d and 3d. I hope you like it. The other models are from xfrog 3.5. Thanks for looking!

you have magical mythic landscapes with shapes and growths right out of an ancient paradise. Some of your pieces seem to have an 'altar' in them; this has a kind of stone altar in the center, surrounded by very lush other-worldly plants. They're mysterious but sunny; you use very restful colors (and very pleasing to the eye), and there's a sense that, though primal, some god somewhere set out this 'garden' in case a passerby should come along and want a place to stop and bask. A rich mythic landscape. I'll be back for more...
