Description
Here we have one of our feral shopping trollys at the end of it's life. These trollys start life as quite domesticated little critters but then hear the call of the wild & leave their supermarket homes. In Australia they can be found almost anywhere but seem to be attracted to water. Maybe this is some sort of calling to return to the primal swamp.

lol...I realy like a way you explaine a short life of trolley. Once I spoke to a diver he said he sees many trolley deep in the ocean...unbelivable what special force made them jump a clif. Excelent capture of the swamp.

Yes, I've seen migrating carts (trollies) all over our country too; interestingly they are rarely spotted upright (they must move too fast to stay in one place), but always down, and yes, usually in water, but sometimes trying to hide unsuccessfully in clumps of bushes. Nice work, eloquent in its pathos!

same thing here. there is a fine for possession of one away from the parking lot of the owner but the people that usually use them are street people with little or no money and sure will not pay any fine a sign of our times. I try to park at the highest point of a parking lot to avoid them colliding with my car. I was in a Walmart parking lot one day and there was a strong wind blowing, and a buggy took off across the lot doing at least 30 mph

After reading every-body's comment, it not only seems, but it also is, a world wide problem. Little will change, unfortunately...unless, wait-a-minute... we get rid of SUPER MARKETS !!! It might even alleviate the Obesity problem, which is also world wide ! Something to chew on, pardon the pun. Back to your controversial subject, I absolutely love the little bit of blue sky in the reflection. BB
